West Branch Fire Department Hosts Free CEH Event
On Wednesday 2/29 from 6:30-9:30pm West Branch Fire Department will he hosting a "Practical Practice without the Practical" CEH program. The event will include hands on learning and refersher material focused on EMT and First Responder level providers. Some of the content will include: cardiac arrest management with hand on airway (oral, nasal, King LT), suctioning, BVM, AED, CPR; medical senario station with patient assessment, vital taking, glucometry, pulse oximetry, and medication; and a trauma senario with patient assessment, vital taking, splinting, KED usage, spinal immobilization, etc.
This is a great opporunity for review for those of you who are certified and for those of you who aren't, it is a good opportunity to see what EMTs can do with there certification while learning about prehospital emergency medicine.
